The only thing wrong with that otherwise perfectly logical statement is the term 'US'. It should read:

"If Moscow hadn’t intervened in Crimea in 2014 and Syria in 2015, the right-wing Big Jewish ("One issue guy" - "See that desert out there") donors wouldn’t have begun training us all to hate Russia in 2016.
