Well, OK. Concur. There’s been weird, non-self-beneficial behavior by our rulerz. I always chalked it up to Oded Yinon & expansion of Israel, at all costs. But I learned today, about this ‘Russia Stuff’, that there was, also, Nordstream 2:
“In the end, the Trump administration likely spent more money opposing this project than it cost Gazprom to build it, when you factor in all the other moves made to counter Russia in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Syria and across Europe.
And the goal here was always to stop Nordstream 2 to retain some leverage over Russia by Ukraine in their negotiations of a new gas transit contract which expires at the end of 2019.”
Today, Denmark finally approved Nordstream 2 to pass through its waters.
I believe this is going to make things less weird, and some normalcy will return, at least in Western Europe.
Am I wrong?
